Teaching Philosophy

Standards
I adhere to each aspect of the Ontario College of Teachers Standards of Practice. This is integral in the commitment to a collective and unified vision of what educators should be.

Ethics
I commit to surpassing each area of the ethical standards stated in the Ontario College of Teachers. Care, Integrity, Respect, and Trust are pillars to build a brave space in the classroom and develop a strong rapport with students.

Pedagogy
My teaching philosophy which impacts by teaching pedagogy is progressive and reconstructionist in nature. I believe students must be active participants in the learning process and use this knowledge to transform society as well.
